Dive Courses


Requirements: If it has been six months or longer since your last dive you should brush up your skills, test your equipment and refresh your boat dive procedures.

Duration: An hour or two in the pool depending on how you do

Equipment rental is excluded.


Requirements: Age 10 and up.

Duration: 1-2 Days

This is a taste tester into our Underwater Paradise. This experience program includes basic theory and DSD booklet, 1 pool session, 1 sea dive and all equipment.

Additional supervised dives cost R600.00 each (including Instructor fee and equipment hire).


Requirements: Age 10 and up.

Duration: 4 Full Days though 5 is recommended in case of new divers struggling with equalising or poor weather.

The Open Water Course is an internationally recognized certification, allowing you to dive with your buddy anywhere in the world up to a depth of 18m/59ft.

The course is made up of 3 sections:
• Knowledge Development to understand the basic principles of scuba diving.
• Confined Water Dives to learn basic scuba skills.
• Open Water Dives to use your skills and explore!

Requirements: Open Water Certification

Duration: 3 Days

The Advanced Open Water Diver course helps you increase your confidence and build your scuba skills so you can become more comfortable in the water. There are two mandatory dives: Deep and Navigation. You can discuss with your instructor which three additional Adventure dives to choose from.

The course includes Advanced Diver Crew Pack and certification. The course excludes equipment hire.


Requirements: Open Water Certification

Duration: 2 Afternoon Tuition Sessions

The Enriched Air Diver Course is our most popular specialty. Scuba diving with enriched air nitrox gives you more no-stop dive time. This means more time underwater, especially on repetitive scuba dives.


EMERGENCY FIRST RESPONSE (Primary & Secondary Care) – ZAR990
Requirements: None

Duration: 2 Full Days

Learn to give CPR and First Aid to someone in need! EFR is a one day course which teaches you the fundamentals in coping with an emergency. A valid EFR certificate is mandatory to begin the PADI Rescue Course.

The course includes the EFR Manual and Quick Reference Card.


Requirements: Age 12 and up

Duration: 5 Full Days

This course is designed to greatly increase your knowledge and experience beyond a purely recreational level. Scuba divers describe the Rescue Diver course as the most challenging, yet most rewarding course they’ve ever taken. Although great fun, the course is serious in nature and context, enabling divers to effectively perform rescues – minor and major, manage emergency situations and give proper first aid, using a variety of techniques. A valid CPR/ First Aid certificate dated within 24 months is mandatory to begin the Rescue Course.

Topics include:
• Self-Rescue
• Recognising and managing stress in other divers
• Emergency management and equipment
• Rescuing panicked divers
• Rescuing unresponsive divers

The course includes all theory and pool sessions, 2 open water training dives, Rescue Diver Manual, Full equipment rental and certification.


Requirements: Prerequisite Courses are completed

Duration: 2 Full Weeks – Dependent on Student’s level of comfort and number of logged dives
